SpaceX is now targeting Tuesday, July 22, for the launch of its Falcon 9 rocket carrying the SES O3b mPOWER mission to medium Earth orbit. The launch is scheduled from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. A two-hour launch window opens at 5:12 p.m. ET.

The mission was initially scheduled for Monday evening, but was scrubbed just 11 seconds before liftoff. The company confirmed that backup opportunities are in place for Tuesday.

A live webcast of the launch will begin approximately 15 minutes prior to liftoff. Viewers can watch the stream on SpaceX’s official account on X (@SpaceX) or through the new X TV app.

This flight marks the sixth mission for the Falcon 9 first-stage booster supporting the launch. The booster has previously been used for the O3b mPOWER-E mission, Crew-10, Bandwagon-3, and two separate Starlink launches.

Following stage separation, the rocket’s first stage is expected to land on the Just Read the Instructions droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean, continuing SpaceX‘s efforts to reuse and recover its launch vehicles.

The SES O3b mPOWER mission aims to expand global broadband connectivity through a constellation of advanced satellites positioned in medium Earth orbit.
