Halloween Horror Nights is creeping closer, and Universal Orlando Resort has unveiled two brand-new original haunted houses set to join this year’s spine-tingling lineup. The annual event, known for its immersive scares and cinematic quality, will run on select nights from August 29 through November 2.

The newly announced haunted houses—El Artista: A Spanish Haunting and Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters—will bring fresh, fright-filled experiences to guests, complementing a total of 10 haunted houses planned for the season, along with themed scare zones, live entertainment, and more.

Inside the New Haunted Houses

In El Artista: A Spanish Haunting, guests will step into the tortured mind of an artist whose horrifying creations take on a life of their own. As the artwork becomes possessed, it begins to twist the artist’s reality, creating a surreal and terrifying atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters transports guests to an Old West town under siege by supernatural forces. In this scorched landscape, molten demons rise from the earth, attempting to possess townsfolk and incinerate everything in their path. Visitors can expect intense scares and high-stakes action in this fiery showdown.

Frightful Favorites Return

These original stories will be featured alongside haunted houses inspired by major entertainment franchises, including the previously announced Jason Universe and Fallout. Each house is designed to immerse guests in detailed environments with terrifying characters and soundscapes that push the limits of fear and creativity.
