Halloween Horror Nights is celebrating 35 years of delivering terror-filled screams, along with trembling immersive experiences as “the nightmare returns” Aug. 28 through Nov. 1.

As the milestone anniversary approaches, Universal Orlando Resort has announced “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares” as the 2026 theme, setting the stage for spine-chilling fun-fair antics through scare zones, haunted houses and entertainment. Incorporating iconic Halloween Horror Nights‘ history elements, Jack the Clown will be the ringmaster for this year’s event alongside his rival Dr. Oddfellow, marking the first time the nemeses will work together to “wreak havoc amongst guests.”

Universal Orlando also announced “Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control” as the first haunted house guests can expect for this year. Park-goers will come face-to-face with the mischievous duo themselves as they fight for power, eventually realizing they are stronger together rather than apart.
