With Halloween Horror Nights just one month away, Universal Orlando has unveiled the final two haunted houses set to debut at this year’s event: Five Nights at Freddy’s and WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks. The announcement rounds out a highly anticipated lineup for the annual horror festival, which kicks off August 29 at Universal Studios Florida.
Five Nights at Freddy’s Haunted House Brings Video Game Terror to Life
Universal Orlando is introducing a brand-new haunted house inspired by the 2023 film adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy’s—a box office hit and Blumhouse’s most successful movie to date. Based on the iconic horror video game franchise, the attraction plunges guests into the eerie world of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria.
According to Universal, visitors will step into the shoes of Mike, a down-on-his-luck character who takes a night security job at the abandoned entertainment center in hopes of keeping custody of his younger sister. The immersive experience will include full-scale, animatronic replicas of the franchise’s most recognizable characters—Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and Mr. Cupcake.
Guests can expect to walk through detailed recreations of memorable locations from the film, including the control room and the infamous showroom where the animatronic entertainers once performed. Universal collaborated with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop to bring the towering, lifelike characters to the haunted house.
WWE and Universal Team Up for The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks
Also new this year is WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks, a haunted house that fuses professional wrestling and psychological horror. The experience features the mysterious Uncle Howdy and other members of The Wyatt Sicks, immersing fans in twisted storylines that pay tribute to the late WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt.
Universal describes the attraction as a journey into the nightmarish minds of The Wyatt Sicks, with each character ruling over their own uniquely terrifying domain. It’s a chilling homage to Wyatt’s creative legacy and a bold crossover between wrestling and immersive horror entertainment.
