Orlando Extends Free Downtown Parking with Park DTO Through 2025

The City of Orlando’s Downtown Development Board has announced the extension of the Park DTO program through December 31, 2025, or until allocated funding runs out. This initiative, designed to encourage residents and visitors to explore downtown, continues to offer free parking via the ParkMobile app, making it even easier to enjoy the vibrant heart of Orlando.

A Boost for Downtown Orlando Businesses

Downtown Orlando is thriving, with nearly 40 new businesses opening last year alone. From trendy restaurants and boutique shops to entertainment hubs and cultural events, the city center has become a bustling destination for locals and tourists alike. Programs like Park DTO play a critical role in this success by reducing barriers to visiting downtown, such as parking costs.

By providing free parking, the city is helping to drive foot traffic to local businesses, ensuring downtown Orlando remains a hub for unique experiences and economic growth.

What’s New with Park DTO?

The 2025 extension of Park DTO comes with a new benefit for users:

  • Increased usage limit: Customers can now use up to 12 Park DTO codes per account, more than doubling the previous limit.

This change offers more flexibility and convenience for frequent downtown visitors, allowing them to explore more events, restaurants, and shops without worrying about parking costs.

How to Access Free Parking

Taking advantage of the Park DTO program is simple:

  1. Download the ParkMobile app on your smartphone.
  2. Use the ParkDTO code to unlock up to 2 hours of free parking at any metered or non-metered spot downtown.
  3. Repeat up to 12 times per account.

Note: The promo code is valid 24/7. If parking exceeds the validated time, users are responsible for the additional cost.

Why Park DTO Matters

First introduced during the pandemic, Park DTO has proven to be a valuable tool in supporting downtown businesses and enhancing the visitor experience. Whether you’re planning a dinner date, shopping spree, or attending a local event, the program ensures that parking is one less thing to worry about.
