Central Florida Vocal Arts (CFVA) has received a $50,000 contribution from Massey Services, a leading Orlando-based service company, to expand its Arts Education for All programming. The gift will help fund inclusive arts education opportunities for young people and underserved populations across Central Florida.

CFVA provides free music education and community classes weekly throughout Orange and Osceola counties, with a projected reach of 50,000 participants this year. Its programs range from private lessons to public performances and are designed not only to teach music but also to address broader community challenges, such as youth mental health, by encouraging healthy outlets for creativity and self-expression.

Andrea Massey-Farrell, president and CEO of the Harvey and Carol Massey Foundation and senior vice president of community relations with Massey Services, said the partnership aligns with the company’s mission of strengthening communities.

“At Massey Services, we believe access to the arts is essential for building stronger, more vibrant communities,” Massey-Farrell said. “By supporting Central Florida Vocal Arts and their Arts Education for All programming, we are helping to ensure that future generations have opportunities to learn, grow and thrive through the power of the arts.”

A Shared Vision for Community Impact

Founded in Orlando, Massey Services has grown into one of the nation’s largest pest management providers, employing more than 2,900 team members across 193 service centers in 11 states. Known for its focus on protecting families and neighborhoods through pest prevention, termite protection, landscaping and irrigation, the company also invests heavily in local initiatives that advance education, wellness and community development.

For CFVA, the gift represents more than financial support—it reinforces the organization’s long-term vision. Along with its sister company Opera del Sol, CFVA is dedicated to reimagining opera and musical theatre for modern audiences while using the arts as a catalyst for social good. The nonprofit emphasizes excellence, accessibility and innovation, offering educational programming and professional performances that promote connection and compassion throughout Central Florida.

Both CFVA and Massey share community partners, including Opportunity, Community, Ability, Inc. (OCA); Quest; and Pace Center for Girls. These relationships amplify the impact of the new funding and create greater program sustainability for arts initiatives serving the region.

Looking Ahead

The timing of the contribution is significant, as CFVA prepares to establish a permanent Arts Conservatory in 2026. The facility will centralize teaching, rehearsal, performance and community programming, expanding the organization’s capacity to provide workshops and performances for all ages. Leaders hope the Conservatory will serve as a lifelong pipeline for arts education, nurturing confidence, empathy and opportunity at every stage of life.
