New Menu for the Spring Season

Whether you’re a kid or an adult, there are options for everyone that open the door to new opportunities. If you visit Lazy Dog during this season, you are sure to feel seen by this assorted menu.

“I think it really ties into fresh flavors, but it’s also reaching across the board of a bunch of different tastes for your pallet,” said Gabby Gonzales, assistant general manager of Lazy Dog in Kissimmee. “That’s one of the things we as a restaurant strive to do and we want to be the place where five different family members want five different things, we’re the go to.”

Lazy Dog was founded in 2023 in the Kissimmee area with a goal of offering different types of comfort foods that make the meals more memorable for the community to remember.

“I call Lazy Dog the unicorn of restaurants, as I have been in the industry a very long time and it’s truly one of the only concepts I found where we walk the walk and we are a family,” said Gonzales. “As a family, it is still the same family I joined 10 years ago when we were much smaller, so you still have the vibe and feel and our owner is very involved, so he shows up all the time. We are not a number here; we are definitely a name and a person down to every single team member and that’s shown throughout the company.”

Ryan Phares, general manager of Lazy Dog in Kissimmee said springtime is a great way to start fresh and having a new upcoming spring menu will only encourage locals to come out to eat.

“Springtime is great because it’s all about renewal,” said Phares. “We have fresh beer, brand new refreshing drinks just like the Spring and the dishes are just phenomenal because they are well balanced and are something our guests would love to bring over for dinner.

Bringing together the community through Lazy Dog will only continue to grow as the new seasonal menu continues to receive good feedback about the new exciting dishes on the menu

“We do everything here a little bit differently because we’re a bit elevated with some fusion,” said Phares. “Every one of our dishes has some element from some other culture like our Bao Buns are an Asian cuisine that have a Korean sauce on it. Blending cultures for food is one of the coolest ways to do it because it shows how going outside of our comfort zone can create something that blends together just like the United States.”

For the Lazy Dog team, working together is the most rewarding thing a job can bring. Taking care of the guests and getting them out of their food comfort zones is what this restaurant is about.
