We’re conjuring up thrills this Halloween season at Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo. The Haunting of River Ranch calls upon the spirits for a witching-good time with immersive experiences. Experience the haunted stables — our chilling centerpiece. Then brave a scary walkthrough, explore scare zones, strike a pose at eerie photo ops, and explore our themed food and beverage booths.

We are looking forward to the 10th annual Fall Festival at Southern Hill Farms! What fall adventure would be complete without mouth-watering apple cider donuts, jolly Jumbo Jack carving pumpkins and s’mores around the fire pits? Tickets are required for this event. Admission tickets must be purchased online in advance for all guests ages 3 and older. Payments are not accepted at the farm. Admission tickets give you access to all activities during the event. Children 2 and under are free and do not need an admission ticket to enter. The Halloween Edition of The Magic Show unites a spellbinding cast in a chilling spectacle. AGT finalist Drew Thomas leads the evening with impossible illusions and darkly enchanting showmanship. His wife, Rebecca, heightens the mystery with her commanding stage presence. Kayla, the powerful “Siren of the Night,” delivers soaring lead vocals, joined by Kellie, the ethereal “Voice Behind the Veil.” The Thomas sons drive the show’s pulse—Milo on piano providing the heartbeat of the shadows, and Sam on guitar, sending lightning down your spine with electrifying riffs. Together, they conjure a Halloween experience that’s terrifyingly unforgettable.

Franklin’s Friends is hosting the twelfth annual HOWL-O-WEEN Dog Walk-a-Thon and Canine Costume Contest at Cranes Roost Park. The event features a dog walk, costume contest, adoptable dogs, pet-friendly vendors, music, food trucks and more, with all proceeds benefiting Franklin’s Friends. Participants can enjoy a morning of family fun while supporting local animal welfare. Prizes are awarded to top fundraisers and best costumes.

Admission is $20 in advance or $25 at the door, and free for first responders and children under 6. 

Get ready for some spooktacular fun in the name of community and connection! The Orlando VA Healthcare System’s Center for Development and Civic Engagement, in partnership with the Wounded Warrior Project, is excited to host the first-ever “Trunk or Treat” event on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Orlando VA Medical Center, located at 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827

This exciting event will feature:

• 🎈 Bounce houses and kid-friendly activities
• 🍬 Trunk-or-treating with tons of candy and prizes
• 🎶 Music, refreshments, and community spirit
• 🤝 Veterans, families, the local community, and staff coming together for fun and fellowship

Halloween at Cranes Roost Park is back for a night of frights and delights. Families can enjoy a safe alternative to trick-or-treating with candy stations circling the lake. Kids can strut their stuff in the costume contest, play festive games and dive into spooky activities. The park will be buzzing with energy, laughter and plenty of treats to go around. Food and drinks are available for purchase and admission is free. Don’t miss one of the community’s favorite fall traditions!

The Beer, Bacon & BBQ Festival brings a sizzling celebration of craft brews, crispy bacon and smoky barbecue to Cranes Roost Park. Guests can sample more than 40 craft beers and enjoy a variety of bacon and barbecue creations from some of Central Florida’s top eateries, all in one flavor-filled experience. The Together in TEAL walk brings the community together to raise awareness of ovarian cancer, honor survivors, celebrate the lives of those lost and support caregivers.
