Event Details

Ghost is a Swedish rock band known for their unique blend of heavy metal, classic rock, and pop sensibilities. Formed in 2006, the band quickly gained attention for their melodic yet dark sound, which draws influences from bands like Blue Öyster Cult, Black Sabbath, and ABBA.

Ghost’s live shows are a theatrical, immersive experience that blurs the line between rock concert and ritualistic performance. Fronted by the enigmatic Papa Emeritus (currently Papa Emeritus IV), and backed by the masked Nameless Ghouls, the band delivers a visual spectacle filled with elaborate costumes, gothic stage design, and dramatic storytelling.

What sets Ghost apart is how they turn every show into a narrative-driven spectacle, part rock opera, part cathedral ceremony, creating an unforgettable experience that’s both entertaining and deeply atmospheric. Whether in a small theater or a massive arena, Ghost brings a level of showmanship and cohesion rarely seen in modern rock.

While our focus today is on empowering young people through the arts, our history includes productions for all ages. In 2026, as we celebrate our Centennial, and in partnership with Writer’s Block Bookstore, we’re proud to launch the very first Florida Children’s Book Festival: a statewide gathering of families, authors, educators, and artists who believe in the magic of children’s literature.

What to Expect:
  • Meet the Authors
  • Interactive Experiences
  • Performance on Stage
  • Educator & Industry Connections

In collaboration with UCF’s MFA in Theatre for Young AudiencesWriter’s Block Bookstore, and WUCF, the festival becomes a movement to make books and theatre accessible for all.

You’re invited to join NextStep Orlando at our 16th Annual Walk-n-Roll-a-Thon happening Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs.

NextStep Orlando, a non-profit organization, helps those paralyzed from a spinal cord injury, stroke, brain injury or other neurological disorders. We provide access to activity-based therapies that promote functional recovery and improve the health and quality of life for people living with paralysis.

This heartwarming event is the highlight of our year where we can showcase the hard work of our clients as they “walk” down the Red Carpet. It is truly breathtaking to see! Our clients come from Orlando and surrounding communities, as well as out-of-state and even internationally. Imagine hearing a client’s story of being injured (and told they were never going to walk again) as they are progressing down a Red Carpet in front of hundreds of cheering fans. This is definitely an event you won’t want to miss!!
