Little Bit (Winner of the 2025 Cutest Pet of Central Florida Lifestyles) wants you to make sure you mark your calendar for the 19th Annual Orlando Out of the Darkness Walk ( a powerful event to raise awareness for suicide prevention and provide a safe place for healing) Feb. 7 at Baldwin Park. Register your team at www.afsp.org/orlando
Many people’s introduction to AFSP comes through the Out of the Darkness Walks, taking place in cities nationwide. In our Community, Campus, and Overnight Walks, those affected by suicide – and those who support them – raise awareness and much-needed funds, strongly sending the message that suicide can be prevented, and that no one is alone.

Page 15’s 5th annual Pop-Up Poetry event in Parramore will feature a power hour of poetry from our community’s young artists and community leaders.
Local students and celebrated community leaders (names coming soon in 2026) will perform, giving youth a chance to express themselves, build confidence, and connect with their neighbors. Studies show that creative writing can help young people process emotions, strengthen communication skills, and feel a sense of belonging.
This free lunchtime event is open to the public, with light lunch and non-alcoholic beverages provided. Donations are welcome to support Page 15’s year-round programs, which serve more than 600 children across Central Florida, helping them develop literacy, storytelling, and critical thinking skills.

You’re invited to join NextStep Orlando at our 16th Annual Walk-n-Roll-a-Thon happening Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs.
NextStep Orlando, a non-profit organization, helps those paralyzed from a spinal cord injury, stroke, brain injury or other neurological disorders. We provide access to activity-based therapies that promote functional recovery and improve the health and quality of life for people living with paralysis.
This heartwarming event is the highlight of our year where we can showcase the hard work of our clients as they “walk” down the Red Carpet. It is truly breathtaking to see! Our clients come from Orlando and surrounding communities, as well as out-of-state and even internationally. Imagine hearing a client’s story of being injured (and told they were never going to walk again) as they are progressing down a Red Carpet in front of hundreds of cheering fans. This is definitely an event you won’t want to miss!!
