A Central Florida musician is turning melodies into meals at an upcoming charity event designed to support the fight against hunger in the region.

On Thursday, August 7, Steve Ferrell will once again take the stage for his annual Lunchtime Concert, held in the Atrium of Landmark Center One, located at 315 E. Robinson St. in downtown Orlando. The performance runs from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to the public, both in person and via livestream.

Since launching the concert series in 2009, Ferrell’s performances have helped raise funds to provide nearly 1.1 million meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity across Central Florida. The event benefits Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, which is currently distributing food for approximately 300,000 meals daily—a number that continues to rise as the community’s needs grow.

The concert is free to attend, but donations are encouraged. Just $10 can help Second Harvest provide 40 meals to neighbors in need.

Community members can show their support by attending the event, donating online, or tuning in virtually. For more details, including donation options and streaming information, visit Steve Ferrell’s official event page.
