2024 7th Annual Art Show Rules and Regulations

 Registration

  • Registration Fee: A non-refundable registration fee of $25 is required for all participating artists.
  • Application Deadline: There is no deadline for applications to allow for maximum participation.

Artwork Submission

  • Original Work: All submitted artwork must be original and created by the artist.
  • Display Space: Each artist will be allocated a designated display space. Specific dimensions and setup details will be provided upon acceptance.
  • Mediums Accepted: Paintings, sculptures, mixed media, photography, and other visual art forms are accepted. No hazardous materials are permitted.
  • Acceptance Notification: All artists will be accepted if their artwork aligns with the event vision.

Sales and Commission

  • Point of Sale System: All sales must be processed through the event’s Point of Sale (POS) system. Artists are not permitted to conduct independent sales transactions.
  • Commission: A 40% commission on all sales will be retained by the event organizers. Artists will receive 60% of the sale price.

Setup and Teardown

  • Setup Start Time: Artists can begin setting up their displays at 2:00 PM.
  • Setup End Time: Artists must have their displays fully set up by 3:45 PM.
  • Teardown Start Time: Teardown will begin at 7:15 PM if the artist has finalized all sales and networking. If the artist is with a client or in the middle of a sale, teardown should be delayed until the interaction is completed.
  • Teardown End Time: Artists must have their displays fully dismantled by 8:45 PM, considering potential delays due to ongoing sales.

Display and Presentation

  • Display Quality: All displays must be professional and aesthetically pleasing. The event organizers reserve the right to request changes to displays that do not meet these standards.
  • Artist Presence: Artists must be present at their displays during the event hours unless previously arranged with the event organizers.

Liability and Insurance

  • Liability: The event organizers are not responsible for any loss or damage to the artwork. Artists are responsible for their own insurance coverage.
  • Insurance: It is recommended that artists carry their own insurance for their artworks.

Conduct

  • Professionalism: Artists are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all times during the event.
  • Compliance: Artists must comply with all event rules and regulations, as well as any local laws and regulations.

Cancellations and No-Show Policy

  • Cancellations: Artists who need to cancel their participation must notify the event organizers within 48 hours prior to the event.
  • No-Show Fee: If an artist signs up and does not participate in the event, a no-show fee of $50 will be charged. Payment details will be saved to enforce this fee.

  • Event Date and Location: The event will be held on Friday, August 23 at
    1881 Restaurant & Bar: 308 Broadway Ave Kissimmee, FL  34741
  • Event Hours: The event will run from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Agreement

  • Acceptance: By submitting an application, artists agree to abide by all rules and regulations outlined above.
  • Modifications: The event organizers reserve the right to modify these rules and regulations at any time. Artists will be notified of any changes.
