Breast Cancer Awareness Events Happening in Central Florida

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and communities across Central Florida are coming together to raise awareness, honor survivors and remember those affected by the disease. From walks and fundraisers to educational events and community gatherings, there are several ways to get involved and show support.

If you’re looking for ways to participate, this guide highlights breast cancer awareness events happening throughout Central Florida, including events in Orlando and surrounding communities.

9th Annual Pink Ribbon Gala: License to Heal

The 9th Annual Pink Ribbon Gala is on Saturday, October 3, at Bonnet Springs Park in Lakeland. The event is an in-person auction featuring trips to international destinations such as Tuscany, Greece, Iceland, Scotland, and Thailand. The goal of the gala is to raise funds to provide non-medical, practical financial assistance to breast cancer patients and their families throughout Central Florida Tickets are required.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month Car & Truck Show: 

Breast Cancer Awareness Month Car & Truck Show is Scheduled for Saturday, October 10 from 2-8 p.m. at the Promenade at Sunset Walk in Kissimmee. The show features show-quality cars and trucks of all makes and models, accompanied by live music starting at 4 p.m.This event benefits the Orlando Health Cancer Institute and is free for spectators, with a $30 entry fee for show vehicles.

2026 Florida Breast Cancer Foundation Race 2Cure 5K and Tribute Walk

The Foundation Race2Cure 5k and Tribute walk takes place on Saturday, October 17, at the Oviedo Mall. This annual fundraising event helps support breast cancer research, education, advocacy, and patient services. Registration is required. Ways to take part in the race include in-person or virtual participation. Participants can also register in teams.

Putt for a Cure 2026

Putt for a Cure is a golf event supporting local breast cancer fighters and their families. The event is on Saturday, October 24, at 9 a.m., located at The Hamptons Golf & Country Club in Auburndale, FL. Registration is $400 for a team of 4. Lunch and goodie bags will be provided.

Making Strides of Orlando Presented by AdventHealth

Taking place on Saturday, October 31, at 7 a.m. at Lake Eola Park, Making Strides of Orlando is an annual community 5K walk organized by the American Cancer Society to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. It is part of the nation’s largest and most impactful breast cancer movement The event is free to register and walk with donations encouraged. 

3rd Annual All Pink Auto Show

Hosted by Eccentric Garage, The 3rd Annual All Pink Auto Show features  custom cars, classics, imports, exotics, trucks, motorcycles, all painted pink. This event is free to attend on October 10 from 12 p.m.-5.p.m at Dezerland Park in Orlando.

 AdventHealth Lady Track Shack 5k

The AdventHealth Lady Track Shack 5k brings together mothers, daughters, sisters, friends to rally in support of breast cancer patients. Every dollar raised benefits the AdventHealth Breast Cancer Care Fund, which helps patients throughout every stage of their cancer journey. The 5k starts at 7:30 a.m. on November 7 at 251 Park Ave. N. in Winter Park. Registration prices range from $40-$55. This event also features a Free Kids run and silent auction.
