A new underwater adventure is coming to Central Florida as LEGOLAND® Florida prepares to unveil SEA LIFE Florida Aquarium on Friday, June 6. This marks the 11th SEA LIFE Aquarium location in the United States and the latest addition to LEGOLAND Florida Resort in Winter Haven.
Positioned at the entrance to the park in the “The Beginning” area, SEA LIFE Florida brings a unique blend of marine education and immersive entertainment. The new attraction will feature glowing tanks, a 180-degree underwater tunnel, and over 25 interactive exhibits, offering guests a chance to explore the wonders of the ocean in a hands-on, engaging environment.
Visitors will be able to encounter more than 3,000 sea creatures representing over 150 species. Highlights include blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, and big-belly seahorses. The aquarium will house approximately 150,000 gallons of water and feature specialized environments such as a freshwater gallery, Stingray Bay, and an invertebrate touch pool designed for up-close encounters.
In keeping with LEGOLAND’s signature style, SEA LIFE Florida integrates playful, theme park-inspired elements into its design. Guests can expect whimsical touches like coral-themed carousels and imaginative deep-sea roller coasters that blend entertainment with marine discovery.
To mark its grand opening, SEA LIFE Florida will host a series of World Ocean Day-themed celebrations on June 6. Festivities will include a “Grand Kelp Cutting” ceremony and exclusive pop badge giveaways for early visitors.
Admission to SEA LIFE Florida is included with a LEGOLAND Florida one-day ticket starting at $104 when purchased online. Gate prices rise to $139. Both the aquarium and the main theme park must be visited on the same day. The ticket does not include access to the LEGOLAND water park, Peppa Pig Theme Park, or parking.
SEA LIFE Florida adds a new dimension to LEGOLAND Florida Resort’s family-friendly offerings, blending ocean conservation with interactive fun. For more details on tickets and planning your visit, visit LEGOLAND Florida’s official website.
