Celebrate Lunar New Year Festival at Luminary Green Park

The Celebrate Lunar New Year Festival returns to Luminary Green Park on Saturday, Jan. 31, bringing a full day of cultural celebration, live entertainment, and community connection to downtown Orlando. Hosted by Heritage & Hope Inc., the annual festival honors Lunar New Year traditions while highlighting modern creative expression. 

The festival transforms Luminary Green Park into a vibrant gathering space that welcomes guests of all backgrounds to celebrate new beginnings, prosperity, and unity.

The daytime festival runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., featuring cultural performances, food vendors, artisan booths, and family-friendly activities.

  • Rising Sun Dance Ensemble
  • Aloha Productions
  • Miss Vietnam Florida 
  • Multicultural Strings

As the sun sets, the celebration shifts its gears. From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Luminary Green Park hosts Dynasty of Dance, a high-energy hip-hop breakdancing battle that brings a modern edge to the Lunar New Year festivities. Featuring competitive one-on-one battles, live DJ music, and top dancers from the region, Dynasty of Dance highlights how traditional celebrations continue to evolve through contemporary art and movement. 

Together, the daytime festival and evening dance battles create a full-day experience that reflects the spirit of Lunar New Year, honoring tradition and community growth.
