Island H2O Water Park is set to reopen Friday, March 6, launching a new season packed with splash-filled attractions, expanded dining options, and a full calendar of special events for families and adults alike.

The Central Florida water park, located in Kissimmee, begins its 2026 season with a mix of returning favorites and new experiences designed to keep guests coming back throughout the spring, summer, and fall.

“We are ready to dive into water-themed adventures with our guests,” said Trisha Sissons, the park’s director of sales and marketing. She noted that the 2026 lineup includes enhanced guest favorites and new events tailored to a range of age groups. As the only water park in the Orlando area to host adult-only events, Sissons said the park offers something for everyone — from kid-friendly play areas to high-energy nighttime parties.

Family-Focused Fun

The season opens with a weeklong Spring Break Bash from March 14 – 22, featuring daily live DJs, interactive activities, and foam parties across the park. On March 21, the park debuts its new Island Nights Adult Party series, a 21-and-over event with glow foam, drink specials, and access to top attractions under the stars. The adult-only events will take place on select Saturdays throughout the year.

In April, the annual Easter Egg-stravaganza returns April 3–5 with a park-wide Easter egg hunt included with admission. Also launching in April are Shipwreck Weekends, offering tropical-themed food and drinks, island music, and appearances by the park’s new resident pirate.

May brings back popular Family Foam Parties in the Live Lagoon Wave Pool on weekends. Later in the month, Island Family Nights return beginning May 22 on select Friday evenings. The after-hours event includes extended ride access, DJs, and exclusive food and drink offerings, and requires a separate ticket.

From late May through August, guests can catch family films during Sunday Summer Dive In, with movies shown on the wave pool’s large video screen. Scheduled titles include “Madagascar,” “Top Gun,” “Flushed Away,” and “Zootopia 2,” all included with regular admission.

In September and October, Tailgate Weekends will showcase college and professional football games on the same big screen, allowing guests to float in the wave pool while watching their favorite teams.

The Island Nights Concert Series, introduced last year, will also return for 2026. The 21-and-over concert events feature live performances by popular artists on the park’s stage. Dates and performers will be announced on the park’s website.

New Dining Options

Three new food stands debut this season. Castaway Cantina will serve customizable rice bowls, tacos, and quesadillas. Splashdown Refreshments adds boba beverages to the menu, and High Tide Sweets will offer mini donuts, churros, and fresh lemonade.

Season Passes Available

Season passes are on sale through opening weekend, starting at $55.99 and include free parking. Passholders are invited to an exclusive preview event on March 5 before the park opens to the public.

Since opening in 2019, Island H2O Water Park has earned national recognition, including ranking among the Best Outdoor Water Parks for five consecutive years. The park also received the 2019 World Waterpark Association’s Leading-Edge Award for excellence in theming, operations, and guest experience.

The park operates seasonally from March through October. Additional details, job opportunities, and ticket information are available at the park’s website.
