In a move timed for the nation’s upcoming 250th birthday, Walt Disney Company has revealed that the beloved ride Soarin’ Around the World will be re-imagined as Soarin’ Across America at both Disney California Adventure Park and EPCOT, debuting summer 2026.

According to Tom Fitzgerald, Portfolio Executive Creative Director & Chief Storytelling Executive at Walt Disney Imagineering, “Now with the 250th celebration, we’ll immerse our guests in a celebratory flight that spans from sea to shining sea.” It will feature more than a dozen U.S. locations that highlight the country’s natural beauty and iconic cityscapes.

The new version remains built on the same ride system but with wholly American imagery for this edition.

Disney says the shift is part of its broader “America 250” celebrations acknowledging the semiquincentennial of the United States.

While an exact launch date and full list of scenes have not yet been revealed, the ride is slated for Summer 2026 and is only confirmed for U.S. parks.

For Disney visitors, the announcement offers a fresh reason to revisit the Soarin’ experience—with a national-themed makeover timed for a major milestone in U.S. history.

Stay tuned for updates on construction.
