Florida’s Space Coast is closing out the year with launch after launch from Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center. From satellite deployments to national security missions, the final stretch of the launch calendar promises dramatic night skies and a steady cadence of countdowns.

Below is a look at the remaining missions currently scheduled to lift off before the end of the year.

Falcon 9 Block 5

Mission: SpaceX will lift two satellites into orbit. The satellites will provide X and military Ka-band for European government and military applications.

Falcon 9 Block 5

Mission: 29 satellites for Starlink Mega-constellation as a part of space-based internet communication.

Date: Saturday, Oct. 25

Time: 10:27 a.m. – 2:27 p.m.

Falcon 9 Block 5

Mission: 29 satellites for Starlink Mega-constellation as a part of space-based internet communication.

Date: Tuesday, Oct. 28

Time: 9:14 a.m. – 1:14 p.m.

Where: Cape Canaveral SFS, FL

Atlas V 551

Mission: A communications satellite launch intended to add significant internet bandwidth capacity to ViaSat’s global network.

Date: Thursday, Oct. 30

Time: 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Where: Cape Canaveral SFS, FL

New Glenn

Mission: Two identical NASA ESCAPADE spacecraft designed to study Mars’ magnetic field, its interaction with the solar wind, and how this interaction drives atmospheric escape.

Date: Saturday, Nov. 8

Time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Where: Cape Canaveral SFS, FL
