St. Patrick’s Day Special Events: Central Florida Holiday Guide

Wearing green isn’t all that St. Patrick’s Day has to offer this year. Central Florida is spicing it up with new events happening this upcoming holiday.

Whether you’re planning to go try new drinks at different bars, go see the St. Patrick Day parade, a nice fancy restaurant, or a play at the theatre, Orlando has never been as excited and pumped to share a St. Patrick Guide that will create a playful and fun environment for guests to enjoy their special day.

Beneath, discover fun events for the community to do in the Orlando area this spring season. 

Part 1: Parades

Winter Park St. Patrick’s Day Parade. 

Dates: March. 7, 9 a.m.

Location: 251 Park Avenue South, Winter Park

The 47th Annual Winter Park St. Patrick Day Parade starts with festivities where you can catch bands, floats, and more. The parade will step off on Canton Avenue in Winter Park and continue alongside Park Avenue, which is filled with special restaurants and exciting shops to buy items from.  This parade is free to the community and is meant to bring a cheerful Orlando together with different backgrounds celebrating St. Patrick Day. 

Part 2: Theatre

The Byrne Brothers at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts

Dates: March. 17, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Location: 445 South Magnolia Avenue, Orlando

Irish quartet The Byrne Brothers will bring back the good energy of traditional Irish Folk and modern dance music to Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Orlando. This unique celebration will include mandolin, lovely banjo, bagpipes, and folk music for a night out in the sweet night of Orlando. This theatre event prices vary on the seat placements depending on the 7 p.m. show or the 9 p.m. show.

Celtic Angels Ireland at Garden Theatre

Dates: March. 12, 7 p.m.

Location: 160 W Plant St., Winter Garden

There will be a celebration of Irish culture and music with Celtic Angels Ireland , a different experience featuring Irish singers, dancers, and musicians from all over. With over 30 Irish traditional and contemporary tunes performed by different types of Irish groups that are sure to impress the audience.  This theatre event prices will be between $25 – $75 depending on the seat placements chosen. 

Part 3: Restaurants 

Bites and Bubbles 

Dates: March. 17, 5 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Location: 1618 N. Mills Avenue, Orlando

This romantic local restaurant is meant to bring the St. Patrick Day spirit as there will be a St. Patrick Day theme wine dinner with four different courses and a welcome cocktail. There will be 60s music playing in the background and will create a nice vibe for guests to enjoy. Reservations are recommended and the pricing is $125 and adults 21+. 

Hard Rock Cafe

Date: March. 12 – 17, 11 a.m. – midnight.

Location: 6050 Universal Boulevard, Orlando

University City Walk will feature Hard Rock Cafe which will have several St. Patrick’s Day specials such as an Irish Smash Burger, a cocktail cart, and more themed events to kick off the holiday. Getting ready for the St. Patrick Day Spirit is what Hard Rock Cafe is all about and has a 3,000-person party/concert venue for guests to attend and enjoy.

The Pub Orlando

Date: March. 17, 11 a.m. – 12 a.m.

Location: 9101 International Drive, Suite 1003, Orlando

The Pub Orlando has a combination of British hospitality and American vibes that will feature St. Patrick’s Day specials and highlights include corned beef and cabbage, Irish Sinkers, and $7 Guinness, Harp, and Smithwick’s. The beverages selections include a variety of draught, handcrafted beers with selections from Ireland, England, Scotland, Europe, and the USA. There is also a list of malt scotches, small batch and single barrel bourbons, wine and cocktails for this holiday event. 

Part 4: Performances

St. Patrick’s Weekend Pool Party at Altira Pool and Lounge

Date: March. 14, 2:30 p.m. 

Location: Grand Bohemian Orlando, Autograph Collection, Orlando

Enjoy a day filled with fun, laughter, and community at the Bosendorfer Lounge. There will be live music, green beer, and delicious food and drinks. Specialty cocktails include Shamrock Margarita, Irish Coffee, Green Tea shot, and Lucky Espresso Martini. The cost of this event is free, and anyone is welcome. 

Orlando Shamrock Block Party

Date: March. 14, 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. 

Location: Orlando, FL

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in style at Wall Street Plaza where there will be live DJs, drinks, and games. The ticket for this event will include access to 8+ bars on Wallstreet such as Fixation, Monkey Bar, Cantina, Hen House, Other Bar, Rivals, and Rodeo. This event is 21+ and the cost to attend is $12.46.

Come out to celebrate dressed in green for St. Patrick’s Day and bring the energy with family and friends to get in the spirit for these festive activities happening in Central Florida.
