Orlando is set to host a new kind of cultural experience this Labor Day weekend as the Metamorphosis Arts and Music Project takes over the Orlando Amphitheater. Running August 29–31, the three-day event blends live music, visual arts, and interactive installations into what organizers describe as a fully immersive environment designed to inspire creativity and connection.
Unlike traditional festivals, Metamorphosis is presented as a “transformation”—a space where sound, light, and imagination collide. The event features three distinct stages, each offering a different experience:
META Stage – Positioned lakeside, this stage combines music with lasers, SFX, and a striking water screen for an open-air audiovisual performance.
CHRYSALIS Stage – Set under a shaded pavilion, this space provides a more intimate setting, enveloping audiences in deep, cocoon-like soundscapes.
GENESIS Stage – A raw, warehouse-style venue showcasing underground sounds, spontaneous artist collaborations, and high-energy performances.
Beyond music, attendees can expect a curated lineup of live art, holographic displays, projection mapping, and interactive installations. A dedicated art gallery and vendor marketplace will showcase local and regional talent, offering one-of-a-kind creations for festivalgoers.
Workshops will also play a central role in the weekend. From yoga sessions to guided art explorations, participants will have opportunities to learn new skills, experiment with creative mediums, and engage with artists directly.
