Orlando makers, inventors, artists and curious minds will come together this November for the 14th annual Maker Faire Orlando, a two-day celebration of creativity, technology, and hands-on learning.
The event returns Saturday, Nov. 7, and Sunday, Nov. 8, at the Central Florida Fairgrounds & Expo Halls, where visitors can explore more than 250 exhibits featuring everything from robotics and 3D printing to crafts, science, cosplay, and technology.
Explore More Than 250 Maker Exhibits
Maker Faire Orlando is designed to give visitors a chance to see how ideas become real projects. Makers from a wide range of backgrounds will showcase their work, demonstrate their creative processes, and interact with attendees.
Exhibits will feature projects involving science, engineering, art, technology, crafts, robotics, 3D printing, and more. Guests can also participate in hands-on activities and workshops where they can learn new skills and create projects of their own.
The event will take place in both indoor and outdoor spaces, with exhibits and activities spread throughout the Central Florida Fairgrounds.
Some of Maker Faire Orlando’s most popular attractions are returning for the 2026 event.
Robot Ruckus brings custom-built combat robots and their creators together for mechanical competition. Attendees can watch the robots compete while learning more about the engineering and strategy behind them.
The Power Racing Series will also return, featuring teams racing modified electric ride-on vehicles. Visitors can meet the teams and learn how the vehicles are designed, modified, and built.
Cosplay will have a major presence at this year’s Maker Faire, with award-winning makers demonstrating the craftsmanship that goes into creating costumes and characters.
Attendees can see techniques involving armor construction, sewing, makeup, and prop design while learning more about the creative process behind elaborate costumes.
The event will also feature 3D printing demonstrations, technology projects, stage presentations, panels and live demonstrations. Programming will cover topics including theme park making, gaming, cosplay and props, robotics, young makers and the future of 3D printing.
Maker Faire Orlando Field Trip Day
Before the weekend event opens to the public, Maker Faire Orlando will host Field Trip Day on Friday, Nov. 6.
The educational preview is designed for preregistered public, private, and charter school groups as well as homeschool families. Students will have opportunities to explore hands-on STEAM activities and interact directly with makers, artists, engineers, and inventors.
Maker Faire Orlando will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days at the Central Florida Fairgrounds, located at 4603 W. Colonial Drive in Orlando.
Advance admission starts at $15 for youth and students and $20 for adults, with a nominal fee for online orders. Tickets will also be available at the gate during the event.
Children ages 2 and younger can attend for free. First responders, active-duty military members, and veterans receive free admission with valid identification.
Free on-site parking will be available, and food will be available for purchase.
Maker Faire Orlando is organized by The Maker Effect Foundation, an Orlando-based 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit. The event is funded in part by Orange County Government through its Arts & Cultural Affairs Program, with ticket proceeds benefiting the foundation.
For anyone interested in technology, engineering, art, or simply seeing what Central Florida’s makers are creating, Maker Faire Orlando offers a weekend built around experimentation, creativity, and learning by doing.
