Four times per year, the Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association collects items for over 10,000 homeless students in Orange and Osceola counties. Items collected for these students include new socks and clothing, non-perishable food, personal hygiene items and school supplies.

Once again, for the spring collection drive, CFHLA partnered with Massey Services, Inc. and Dollar Tree Stores to host an in-store collection in the Central Florida area Dollar Tree locations. This week-long effort brought in 186,000 items for the homeless students. These items, combined with the one-day CFHLA collection of 27,000 items donated from CFHLA member properties and businesses, make this the most successful collection drive to date with a total of 213,000 items.

CFHLA is proud to support these students and the Central Florida community.
