For many families, navigating developmental challenges can feel overwhelming. Finding the right support system of expert therapy, but also understands the emotional journey of raising a child with unique needs can make all the difference. That philosophy is true in Little Champs Therapy & Yoga, a pediatric therapy organization dedicated to helping children grow, learn, and thrive.
Founded in 2017 by pediatric therapist Nisha Bhatt, Little Champs Therapy & Yoga provides a wide range of specialized therapy services designed to support children with developmental needs while empowering the families who care for them. Through individualized treatment plans, a multidisciplinary team, and a deeply compassionate approach, the organization has grown into a trusted resource for families across South Florida.
The organization currently operates clinics in Fort Lauderdale Lakes, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Coral Springs, and West Palm Beach. In addition to in-clinic services, the organization continues to offer therapy in community settings such as homes, schools, and daycares to make services more accessible.
Little Champs also has a large team dedicated to behavioral therapy through its ABA program, including board-certified behavior analysts and registered behavior technicians who support children with behavioral and developmental needs.
Together, this multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to design and implement individualized treatment plans that address each child’s physical, behavioral, and communication development.
The Inspiration Behind Little Champs
Bhatt’s journey towards Little Champs was shaped by both professional experience and personal insight. A licensed physical therapist, she earned her master’s degree in physical therapy from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York, in 2008 and later completed her doctorate in physical therapy at the University of South Florida in 2015.
Beyond her clinical training, Bhatt also has a long-standing passion for yoga. She received a yoga teacher diploma from the International Yoga Federation in 2002, an experience that influenced her holistic approach to health and wellness.
Early in her career, Bhatt worked in a variety of physical therapy settings, helping patients regain mobility and independence. But after becoming a mother, she began focusing her work specifically on pediatric therapy. During that time, she noticed how challenging it could be for families to manage the logistics of therapy appointments, and particularly the stress of traveling frequently to clinics with young children.
Bhatt began providing therapy in community settings such as homes, parks, daycares, and private schools. She discovered that children often responded better when therapy took place in familiar environments.
The company’s values—hope, love, sharing knowledge, and growth—shape both the clinical approach and the culture within the organization. The organization emphasizes a family-centered philosophy, recognizing that therapy is most effective when parents and caregivers are actively involved in the process. Therapists work closely with families to create personalized programs designed to help children reach their developmental goals while also providing education and support for parents.
