The Orlando Pride is excited to announce their first-ever Olympic watch party, celebrating their players representing their countries in the 2024 Paris Olympics. The inaugural event will take place on July 25 at American Social Orlando.
The watch party will kick off with an electrifying Group C match between Brazil and Nigeria at 1 p.m. Orlando Pride’s Brazilian star, Marta, will be making her final Olympic appearance for Brazil.
Following that, the U.S. Women’s National Team will begin their Olympic journey with a Group B match against Zambia at 3 p.m. Pride forward Barbra Banda and new recruit Grace Chanda will be representing Zambia in their second-ever Olympic appearance. Additionally, Pride defender Emily Sams is a newly announced alternate for Team USA and may feature in their Group Stage match.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 10, for the 2024 Women’s Gold Medal match watch party. This event will also be held at American Social, with doors opening at 10 a.m. for an 11 a.m. kickoff.
