Downtown Orlando’s dynamic cultural community, The Downtown Arts District, and CityArts Factory announce the award-winning 9th annual “Dia De Los Muertos & Monster Factory” Exhibit and Block Party presented by el Jimador on Thursday, October 18.  Continuing to grow more monstrous than ever, for this year’s fun-charged event, inspired by the traditional Mexican holiday, guests can view the original artwork and Ofrendas by local and national artists themed in Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and Halloween exhibited at CityArts Factory from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Plus, the Street Party will return to Pine Street from 6pm-11pm featuring live music, dance and theatre performances by Phantasmagoria, Bloody Jug Band, Mariachi Oro, Ritmo Kru and BalaChandra Belly Dancing, spooky art vendors, food, face painting, a kids crafts area, costume contest, photo opportunities, raffles and much more.  Suggested entrance donation is $5, and all proceeds support Downtown Arts District.  Visit https://bit.ly/2Q2fgLp for more information.
