Cape Canaveral National Cemetery to Host Memorial Day Ceremony

What: Memorial Day event commemorating the service and sacrifice of those Veterans interred and memorialized at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.

Who: Keynote speaker will be Kayla Giuliano, USMC OIF OEF Combat Veteran, National Anthem will be sung by Pastor Wintley Phipps, and the Emcee is Mindy Levy from iHeart Radio 99.3.

When: Monday, May 25, 2026; 9:00 a.m.

Where: Cape Canaveral National Cemetery; 5525 US Highway 1 Mims, FL 32754

Parking: Onsite parking is limited so please arrive early and follow the instructions of the parking attendants. Guests are encouraged to arrive prepared for anticipated weather and to bring water bottles for hydration.

Those wishing to volunteer to place flags at the headstones throughout the cemetery can do so on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Flag retrieval will be the following Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
