Learn how to propagate seedlings and hybridize your own amaryllis based on the teachings of Dr. Henry Nehrling’s noteworthy publication, The Amaryllis. Participants will discover Nehrling’s role in popularizing and cultivating this lovely plant, explore the gardens, and learn how to start amaryllis from seed. All participants will leave with a tray of seedling starts to begin an amaryllis garden of their own. This class is for adults and the cost is $10 per person. Previous horticulture experience is not required – all amaryllis enthusiasts are welcome!
