Film lovers across Central Florida can kick off the new year with a slate of free movie screenings at Enzian Theater. Throughout January 2026, Enzian will host several complimentary outdoor films as part of its popular Wednesday Night Pitcher Shows, Popcorn Flicks in the Park, and Peanut Butter Matinee series. The events are open to the public and take place on the Enzian lawn or at Central Park in Winter Park.

Here’s a look at what’s on the schedule.

Wednesday Night Pitcher Show: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Admission: Free, no ticket required

The January lineup begins with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, the acclaimed romantic drama from writer Charlie Kaufman and director Michel Gondry. Starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, the film explores love, heartbreak, and memory through the story of a couple who erase each other from their minds—only to discover what they may be losing in the process. The film also features performances from Kirsten Dunst, Mark Ruffalo, Elijah Wood, and Tom Wilkinson.

Wednesday Night Pitcher Shows are free and open to the public. Seating is first come, first served on the lawn. A limited number of reserved picnic basket spaces—complete with beer and popcorn—are available for purchase. Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Free overflow parking is available at Park Maitland School and Peach Valley, located across the street. Weather-related updates are shared on Enzian’s Facebook page.

Later in the month, Enzian will screen Cool Runnings, the beloved sports comedy inspired by the true story of Jamaica’s first Olympic bobsled team. The film follows four athletes from the tropics who defy expectations by competing in the Winter Olympics with the help of a reluctant former champion.

As with other Wednesday Night Pitcher Shows, the event is free and open to the public. Reserved picnic baskets are available for purchase, and overflow parking can be found nearby. Guests should note that outside food and beverages are not allowed on the Enzian property.
