Vines by H Orlando has officially opened on Restaurant Row in Dr. Phillips. Located at 7533 W. Sand Lake Rd, the reimagined restaurant blends modern American cuisine with Mediterranean and European influences. With an internationally curated wine program, a cigar lounge, and nightly live jazz, Vines creates a distinctive upscale dining experience.

Established in 2003, Vines began as a boutique restaurant and winery, earning recognition for its high-quality meats, fresh local seafood, and a global wine selection. Over the years, it grew into a popular Orlando restaurant, known for its inviting atmosphere, attentive service, and commitment to live jazz.

In June 2025, operations transitioned to The H Hospitality Group. With new leadership, the restaurant has been reimagined as Vines by H, preserving the spirit of the original while adding a modern approach.

A Redesigned Space

After closing in August 2025 for a full renovation, Vines by H reopened with a transformed 7,800-square-foot interior. The redesigned space features warm lighting, curved banquettes, and natural materials such as stone, wood, and leather. A palette of deep charcoals, warm neutrals, and subtle gold accents gives the restaurant a timeless feel.

The layout has been rearranged to enhance flow and create zones for dining, socializing, and relaxing. The restaurant accommodates 160 indoor guests, including a bar with 16 seats, plus 50 outdoor seats on the patio.

For private events, Vines by H offers two dedicated dining rooms:

  • The Cypress Room (up to 46 guests)
  • The Arnold Palmer Room (up to 20 guests)

The Modern Menu

Executive Chef Omer Yildiz, formerly executive sous chef at The H Orlando, leads the culinary program. His menu builds on Vines’ American foundation while incorporating European techniques and Mediterranean flavors.

Notable starter items include Sea Bass Ceviche with lime and jalapeño and Blue Crab Fingers with spicy Cajun dip. Flatbreads and salads include Margherita Flatbread, Philly Cheesesteak Flatbread, and Burrata with heirloom tomatoes, roasted figs, arugula, and celery pesto.

All pastas are made in-house daily, featuring dishes like Linguini Bolognese and Tuscan Shrimp Rigatoni. The grill program highlights proteins, including Chilean Sea Bass, Bavarian-style Schnitzel, and prime cuts of Filet Mignon, 14-ounce Ribeye, and New York Strip with house-made sauces.

From Créme Brûlée to warm Vines Chocolate Cake served à la mode with French vanilla ice cream, desserts are classic and comforting.

Curated Wine, Cocktails, & Happy Hour

Beverages are a central part of the Vines by H Orlando. The extensive wine list showcases various Old World regions alongside domestic producers, selected to pair well with the menu.

The cocktail program blends classics like the French 75 with signature creations such as the Vines Carajillo. Mocktails, including a Lavender Mojito, are also available.

Happy hour runs daily from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., featuring select wines, beers, $10 classic cocktails, and discounted appetizers and flatbreads.

From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. every night, live music and jazz remain a hallmark of Vines. Restaurant hours are:

  • Sundays – Wednesdays from 4 – 10 p.m.
  • Thursdays from 4 – 11 p.m.
  • Fridays – Saturdays from 4 p.m. – Midnight

Guided by The H Hospitality Group, Vines by H’s mission is “To marry quality ingredients and a passionate team, in an upscale, vibrant environment for an unparalleled dining experience.”

With its blend of elevated cuisine, curated wine, live jazz, and sophisticated design, Vines by H Orlando stands as both a neighborhood favorite and a destination restaurant for visitors to Central Florida.
