Central Florida Lifestyle Magazine is Orlando’s premier award-winning community publication, sharing stories of the people, local businesses, and current events shaping the region. 

For over two decades, our parent company, Lifestyles CFL, LLC, has embraced the power of multimedia storytelling. Once a print publication, we’ve evolved into a dynamic digital-first magazine, offering unlimited reach, freedom from the constraints of monthly print cycles, and always ready to engage and inform. 

In addition to covering local news events, we also feature articles on health and wellness, dining, fashion, home and leisure, technology, travel, and more through our website, social media channels, and daily newsletter, all of which reach a combined audience of over 50,000. 

We are continuing to serve each county of Central Florida more intently with the implementation of our subsites, featuring area-specific articles telling the stories of our readers’ neighborhoods.

Meet Waylon Krush, owner of Lifestyles CFL, LLC. In 2022, he acquired Karst Media Group, a full-service advertising, public relations and publishing agency with over 50 years of business development, branding, marketing and publishing experience, including publishing Lifestyle® Publications for over 20 years. He continues this legacy to help Central Florida businesses create their brand presence and achieve their goals.

Waylon proudly served in the United States Army in various intelligence/security-related technical and leadership roles throughout the world.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Catie Moore is our Brand Strategist with a passion for helping companies develop compelling and effective marketing strategies. With her extensive experience in the publishing industry, including over a decade at Central Florida Lifestyle Magazine, she has a deep understanding of how to build strong brands that resonate with audiences. She thrives on the challenge of developing innovative solutions that drive business results.

Catie is always up for a good laugh and a new adventure, whether it is exploring local gems around town or planning her next family excursion. Let’s take on the world with creativity and a dash of fun!

 

 

 

Melissa Donovan is the Content & Creative Development Manager for Central Florida Lifestyle Magazine, where she gets to collaborate on bringing new life into local happenings and tell the stories of the people who make Central Florida what it is. She has a bachelor’s degree in Print and Digital Journalism from the University of Central Florida and has had her work featured in Strike Magazine, The Charge, The Orlando Life, and Central Florida Lifestyle Magazine. As a born and bred Orlando native, Melissa enjoys putting her own spin on the daily life of The City Beautiful.

When she is not at her laptop writing her next piece, you can find Melissa traveling the world, watching rom coms on repeat, or indulging in a delicious bowl of pasta.

Ava McDonnell is the Digital Content Creator for Central Florida Lifestyle Magazine while also earning her bachelor’s degree in English at the University of Central Florida. Her work has been featured in UCF’s The Charge and Her Campus UCF. She also has experience in editing using AP Style and SEO guidelines. 
 
Located in Clermont, Ava has always had a passion for learning about people’s lives and sharing accurate stories with the world. She is dedicated to getting the job done right while making content interesting for readers. Aside from writing, you can find her indulging in the great outdoors with the people she loves. Whether it is hiking, taking photographs, or trying new activities, she is up for almost anything.
