Kicking Off the New Year

Team building is a key ingredient for a successful business. January kicks off the New Year with fresh goals, ideas, strategies, and more. It is the perfect time to get your crew energized to meet these new challenges. The chamber’s Annual Community Kickball Challenge is Saturday, January 31. Who is going to be crowned this year’s champion? Will your organization be the team to knock off last year’s champion, Orlando Jobs? Start organizing and practicing with your team for this exciting event.

On Wednesday, January 14, the 2015 board of directors will be installed at the monthly luncheon. Come celebrate this annual inauguration at Stoneybrook East Golf Club from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

The New Year also brings changes to a number of our regularly scheduled programs. Coffee Club East will still meet at 8:30 a.m. on the first and third Thursdays of each month but has a new location this year: UCF College of Nursing in Research Park. Café con Leche has a new meeting date and name: Coffee Club Medical City. This networking meeting will convene at 8:30 a.m. on the second Tuesday of every month at the UF Research Institute located in Medical City. Women on Wednesday will continue to meet at Florida Hospital East, but now it will be held on the fourth Wednesday of the month.
