In 2015, 2012 and 2009, the West Orange Chamber of Commerce received the prestigious State of Florida’s Chamber of the Year award.
At the West Orange Chamber of Commerce, 2017 holds special meaning, as we will celebrate our 45th anniversary later this year. Many of the chamber members and community leaders that have shaped the West Orange business community over the years will be celebrated, starting at the Big Orange Awards on Feb. 3 and continuing throughout the year.
The chamber can attribute a great deal of its success to the combination of longevity and experience among its leadership team. President/CEO Stina D’Uva recently celebrated her 15th anniversary as the organization’s leader, Vice President Krista Carter has also been a part of the team for over 15 years, Events Director Carrie Wilson for over 10 years and Events Manager Kelly Jones for five years. The chamber has grown to become a fixture in the community, facilitating countless opportunities for area organizations and advocating for positions that strengthen West Orange businesses.
As we continue to move forward into another year of building business throughout West Orange County, we would like to recognize and welcome our 2017 board members who will help lead the way. Joining the chamber’s board of directors are Cynthia Cardona – Winter Garden Heritage Foundation, Dale Fitch of Unicorp National Developments, Frank Gilbert – City of Winter Garden, Mark Marsh – Orlando Health-Health Central Hospital, J.T. McWalters – Orlando Magic and Orange County Commissioner Bryan Nelson.
