Maitland Primary Care

Maitland Primary Care has been serving patients from the age of 18 to 118 for the past four years. Dr. Bella Dattani has been busy adding new services and updating the office’s technology to meet the health care needs of her patients while continuing to offer medical services both quickly and effectively.

The practice recently updated its system to be completely paperless, offering a patient portal where patients can conveniently access their test results and medical records online. If they have questions or concerns, the staff is available by messaging through the patient portal or by phone during business hours to offer assistance. Dr. Dattani guarantees that every phone call will be answered by a person; not a machine. “Maitland Primary Care is a state-of-the-art medical practice that still keeps the human touch,” she says. “Our patients deserve having the opportunity to talk to a human when they call our office.”

Even more, Maitland Primary Care is a one-stop medical practice for its patients, whether they have an appointment for the common cold or a cholesterol check. The practice includes an in-house lipids lab, diabetes clinic, stress test facilities, and heart monitoring equipment. Results are immediate, and any necessary prescriptions can be filled at the in-house pharmacy. Leaving the same day with a doctor consultation, test results and up to a 90-day supply of medication is an experience that is unique to Maitland Primary Care. “No one wants to run all over town to get lab work and medicine. We offer all of that under one roof,” says Dr. Dattani.

For patients who want to take preventative measures to better their health, Maitland Primary Care offers 30-minute, one-on-one sessions with a dietitian every Thursday. These one-on-one consultations are free, so no co-pay is required and it won’t be billed to insurance. The dietitian will discuss a diet and exercise plan for each individual case, depending on a patient’s health. Since there is access to the doctor and the patient’s medical records, forming a healthy plan is easy.

Maitland Primary Care has extended its business hours to better accommodate patient schedules. The practice is now open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Same-day appointments are also available when requested, making it that much more convenient to be seen by the doctor. If you’re looking for  amedical practice that will provide quick and convenient care for a long list of health care services, make an appointment at Maitland Primary Care today
