WOCC: Facilitating Opportunity for Local Businesses

Spring is always a time of excitement for us at the West Orange Chamber, and this year has been no different. On March 30, we were happy to showcase the incredible culinary delights from more than 60 vendors from throughout the area at our 15th Annual Best Fest – “The Taste of West Orange.” Over 1,500 local residents filled Lakeshore Drive in Ocoee, next to beautiful Starke Lake, and took the opportunity to make their voices heard by voting for the 2017 winners. We were happy to present the following awards: Best Food – Table Top Catering, Best Beverage – Pilars Martini, Best Dessert – Nothing Bundt Cakes, Best Business Booth – Observer Media Group, and Best Healthy Option – Press’d Juice Bar & Kitchen. Thank you to our vendors, sponsors, attendees, volunteers and anyone who contributed to making this Best Fest the best yet.

Also on the horizon is a luncheon to celebrate the chamber’s 45th Anniversary. Join us on May 25 at the Ocoee Lakeshore Center to celebrate 45 years of Facilitating Opportunity. The event will also feature a panel discussion of area commissioners, allowing each speaker an opportunity to highlight their district’s accomplishments as well as a greater vision for Orange County as a whole. In addition, this luncheon will feature the graduation of the 2016/2017 class of Leadership West Orange – the “West Orange Crushers.”
